The Process
Your Path to Better Movement
I prioritize personalized care. Each session follows a simple flow:
1) Assessment: I analyze your history and complaints to identify the root cause.
2) Manual Therapy: I use targeted myofascial work to release tissue restrictions.
3) Adjustment: I apply precise adjustments to restore optimal joint function.
Conditions I Address
I focus on musculoskeletal health, helping you resolve pain and regain function.
- Spine & Neck: Lower back pain, neck tension, and recurring headaches/migraines.
- Lower Body: Sciatica, hip stiffness, and knee/ankle/foot discomfort.
- Upper Body: Shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand restrictions.
Meet Dr. Gunnar James
Husband. Father. Chiropractor
Hello! My name is Gunnar, and I go by just that. I always tell people that I’ve been ‘Gunnar’ way longer than I’ve been ‘Dr. Gunnar’. When I'm not in the office, you'll likely find me spending time with my wife and our two beautiful daughters.
With that being said, my background includes a Bachelor’s in Athletic Training, Master’s in Sports Specific Rehabilitation, and Doctorate of Chiropractic.
My primary focus is on the musculoskeletal system. I believe that by restoring motion we are restoring function of the body. I see chiropractic care as a collaborative effort so please do not be afraid to ask me any questions or make any requests (to add or remove care; i.e. some people don’t like to have their neck adjusted). I look forward to helping you to the best of my abilities!
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions to help you get started
No. You can schedule an evaluation directly. I believe in making high-quality, chiropractic care accessible whenever you need it.
I am not currently in-network with insurance providers, though I am actively working to become so. I am focused on providing transparent, high-value care for a reasonable price. Each visit is a flat $60, with no hidden fees or complex itemized charges.
I prioritize personalized, collaborative care. There is no "one-size-fits-all" plan. We will evaluate your progess together often and adjust your treatment frequency based on how your body is responding to the care.
Just as described in 'The Process', each visit includes assessment, manual therapy, and adjustment. The first visit is slightly longer to allow time to review your medical history and specific complaints so we can determine the best route of care. I strive for open communication and collaboration, so I will check in with you often. Whether it is your first visit or your one-hundreth, please share your feedback - it's the best way for me to provide you with the highest quality care.
